- Register for Four Days of Classroom instruction (fee $280)
- Take the following items with you for your Permit Test at The DMV
- Form 44 signed by parents with social security number on top right corner
- Take copy of social security card with you
Passport, Original Birth Certificate, or California I.D.
- $31 Cash or check to DMV
- Ol Blue form if you took our 4 day course or Pink form if you completed on line course.
- Contact Drive Carmel School at 831-625-3994 or DriveCarmelSchool.com to schedule the mandatory 6 hours of Behind the Wheel training - $70/hr
- One hour must be completed before you drive with anyone else
- Over the next year you must complete 50 hours of practice with a licensed driver over 25 (10 of these need to be at night)
- Your permits last for 1 year. You will need to show all documents when you go for your drive test
